What is the difference between HYD and PowerAll?
The HYD series are classic hybrid inverters for wall mounting. The PowerAll ESI series is a more compact all-in-one design with integrated functions. Both series can be combined with BTS battery storage.
Can I use SOFAR storage with third-party inverters?
BTS battery storage systems are primarily designed for use with SOFAR HYD or PowerAll inverters.
How modular is the BTS storage system?
The BTS 5K is a 5 kWh module with BDU (Battery Distribution Unit). With the BTS 5K Extension, you can expand capacity in 5 kWh increments – up to a maximum of 30 kWh per system.
How quickly can SOFAR products be delivered?
The most common SOFAR products are available from stock in Willich. Delivery within 24–48h in DACH + NL.

How do HYD and PowerAll ESI differ?
The HYD is a classic hybrid inverter for wall mounting. The PowerAll ESI is a compact all-in-one system with integrated energy management – ideal for standardized residential installations with minimal space requirements.
How much storage capacity does the BTS system offer?
A single BTS 5K module provides 5 kWh capacity. With BTS 5K Extensions, capacity can be expanded in 5 kWh increments – up to a maximum of 30 kWh per system. The modular design allows flexible adaptation to every project size.
Is the SOFAR wallbox compatible with PV surplus charging?
The SOFAR EV11k-AC-02 supports PV-controlled charging when combined with a SOFAR hybrid inverter. The wallbox communicates via Modbus with the inverter and automatically adjusts charging power to the available PV surplus.
What monitoring options do SOFAR products offer?
All SOFAR inverters and storage systems are monitored via the SOFARSolar App and the SOFAR Cloud Portal. Here you can see real-time data, yields, consumption and system status – both for individual systems and entire fleets.
